A Halloween commission, this costume was completed in about 3 weeks and shipped off to the client without a single fitting. I made everything as adjustable as possible, and miraculously, everything actually fit my extremely tall and lovely client! Costume includes crystallized horn, grapeleaf and grapes headpiece, crystallized grape brooch, iridescent sequin and bridal satin burnoose with hand stitched appliqué down the back and a silver tassel, toga-style drapey stretch velvet leopard print gown with extreme side slit, crystal accented belt, and matching booty shorts, fingerless opera gloves, faux fur bracelets and spats, and heavily crystallized and hand painted iridescent formal shoes. The original plan was to make hooves, but my client’s size 16 feet made finding a pair of suitable heels to work off of basically impossible. I actually love the effect and now he can wear them with other outfits, so win win!
