Historically, gowns in that era were so low-cut as to expose the nipples. Since this is not as socially aceptable in the current era, I am wearing gold sequin pasties, adorably coined by a friend as "Sun Kinglet pasties." *

Both C and I are wearing round-toed velvet court pumps to match our outfits.C's have been decorated with matching brocade bows.

As usual, my extremely wide hips give the illusion that my waist is considerably smaller than it actually is. On this night, my over-the-corset measurement was just under 21" as I left a little room for drinking and dancing. *
